In music pupils will have the opportunity to learn to:
- Use their voices expressively and creatively by singing songs and speaking chants and rhymes
- Play tuned and un tuned instruments musically
- Listen with concentration and understanding to a range of high-quality live and recorded music
- Experiment with, create, select and combine sounds using the interrelated dimensions of music
Pupils will be able to develop their skills as musicians by:
- Listening to a range of musical pieces
- Forming their own opinions
- Reviewing and evaluating
- Creating and composing
- Performing to others
- Using tuned and untuned instruments
- Considering how music makes them feel
