Year 5 Skills Builder Day

Year 5 took part in a ‘Recruitment Race’ skills builder day where they used all the skills to evaluate different CVs and candidate interviews for a job as a receptionist at Clarion House, a social housing company that operates over 125,000 houses across the country. They had to present their chosen candidate and reasons for their selection to several people from the company. This gave them the chance to use their speaking skills and their problem solving skills.  They were also given the opportunity to ask questions about the different jobs at the company and see how all the skills are used  everyday in this business.
